I believe that no matter how challenging things are right now, you have the capacity to heal and reach your fullest potential.
You may feel like this is impossible for you or that you are broken, but I believe in you. Therapy can seem very daunting and scary at times, but I am passionate about helping you find wholeness and acceptance within a safe and comfortable space. Often, we are our own worst critic, and we judge ourselves while rarely appreciating the beauty within us. It is through self-empowerment and your own strength that together we can discover your best self.
I believe that the only aspect that lasts in life are relationships.
And it is these relationships that are probably the motivational force behind seeking counseling. They are priceless but can be challenging at times as well as exhausting. Often in relationships we find ourselves disconnected, whether it be physically or emotionally, and we are unable to adequately communicate our thoughts and feelings. To help you navigate through these difficult times, I have several certifications (The Gottman Method Level 1 and Prepare and Enrich) that can be useful to transform relationships by allowing healthy communication and deepening your understanding of one another.
I believe in a whole person approach to therapy.
When words are not enough to express the impact of trauma, creative expressive art modalities offer another path for healing. When you begin to open up and explore your inner self without judgment and allow for different experiences, new connections in the brain can be made that result in a substantial lifelong impact. I have a certification in Play and Creative Expressive Arts as well as certifications in Level 1 and 2 sand tray, that can help aid in this exploration. Through this, you can connect with other unknown parts and experiences and begin the transformative process of healing.
I believe in committing to continuing my own work in becoming my best self to provide the best quality of care.
It is an honor and a privilege that you would entrust yourself to this process and it is essential to me to also be continuing to grow, learn and heal. I do not take this responsibility for granted and I am honored to be involved.

One of my favorite quotes is from Maya Angelou, “there is no greater agony than bearing an untold story inside you.” Relief from this agony is my wish for you. I hope you find the sacred space to share your experiences so that you can know freedom.
Your life is its own unique and beautiful story, no matter who you are, what you do, who you love, where you come from or where you want to go. Your story is worthy of being told and when you’re ready, I am ready to hear it.
